Due to the delay of the proper Steam release and negative public opinion regarding the Epic Games Store, Deep Silvers decision was met with much controversy among PC gamers and longtime fans of the series. If you want a game and exspect to play right after midnight on lauch day or even to preload a game, epic launcher is not the one to go with then. It was later announced that Metro Exodus would return to Steam and other digital storefronts on 14th February, 2020. As far i can see or the lag of it is also that you cant even see for how long you have played the game, you can do that in steam.
